Become part of our mountainside farm.

In the Dolomites it is nature that sets the rhythm of life. From time immemorial. For generations the ancient rhythm of the seasons, the eternal cycle of becoming and passing, of sowing the seeds and reaping the harvest, have determined life here on the sunny slopes of Bulla. Our family history is deeply interwoven with the farming traditions and nature’s treasures of the Alps. Since 1964 we farm the meadows and the fields around the the Mea Via farm. Our mountain farm “luech da paur” is typical for South Tyrol agriculture. We know the names of all our animals. We are dedicated to the conservation of rare breeds of farm animals. In our farmyard you will see Tyrolean grey cattle, Val Pusteria cattle, Magalitza pigs, and so-called Villnöss “black-eyed sheep”. Not only our animals are valuable ingredients for our culinary delicacies but also our gardens, fields and meadows provide intensive-fragrance mountain fruits, vegetables and herbs which we prepare for you in traditional ways.
